Happy New Year!

Started work at the beginning of November and finished about 6 weeks later. Jane would've loved it - I hope !

It's become a kind of Spanish art gallery, maybe apt as the taps were imported from Spain.

Wall lights were homemade, reproduction of the lights that we bought for our bathrooms in Spain.

Meet "Wallace". His only job is as a buffer between door and wall - hence his name "Wall" "Ace" !

The last picture is hanging in place. The bathroom is finally finished so there's only one thing left to do - a long relaxing soak with a gin & tonic !

Jane and I had designed most of the visitor's bedroom furniture but had inherited the bed.

Custom made wardrobe and dressing table. Chair is a 1960s Vico Magistretti "Carimate" - by coincidence it's from Wolfson Hall, my Glasgow University hall of residence.

Jane tasked me with learning to make bread - the target being Bollos Preñaos - Spanish chorizo rolls.
